First of all, it should be emphasized that STEEREON is largely maintenance-free and that the vehicles are fundamentally designed to be of very high quality and durable. Service cases relating to warranty claims or necessary repairs are very rare. Wear parts (tires & brakes) are very durable and only need to be replaced after a higher mileage (assuming a normal, good-natured driving style). 

We as a manufacturer can offer all forms of service. Here we distinguish between two options:

1. you live near Cologne or are often on the road here:

If you live in the vicinity of Cologne or are regularly on the road in the area, we can flexibly carry out all work directly on site in the event of a service. By making an appointment in advance, you can usually take your vehicle back on the same day. 

2. we handle the service by package delivery:

If transporting your vehicle to us is out of the question, there is always the option of having the vehicle picked up. We will then check the vehicle and send it back the same way.

Attention: In case of warranty claims we always find a fast and flexible solution, which does not cause any additional costs or efforts for you as a customer. 

Most of our distributors also offer service. Should you decide to buy directly from a distributor in your area, please agree directly the option of possible service work. 

If there is a service issue, please contact your dealer first to coordinate options. If you cannot find a direct solution here, please feel free to contact us and we will find a suitable solution for all parties involved. 

Our vehicles are similar to a bicycle in many respects. This also applies to possible service requests. Many of our customers have already carried out service work themselves. These include, in particular, changing tires or brake pads.

You are welcome to contact us first. If service on your own is possible and desired, we can provide you with appropriate instructions, depending on the application. 

As with self-service, the similarity of our vehicles to bicycles also has the advantage for workshops (especially bicycle workshops) that specialists can quickly familiarize themselves with the vehicle. As a rule, any workshop that is also familiar with e-bikes and/or e-scooters can carry out the main service activities on STEEREON . 

If there are any questions or ambiguities on the part of the workshop, you are welcome to contact us at any time. We can then, depending on the case, provide instructions. If it is a particularly serious case (eg accident vehicle), we will support you in the further processing. 


In contrast to bicycles, there are no components at STEEREON that require regular maintenance. The operating instructions list a few components that should be checked regularly (by yourself) by means of a visual inspection. In principle, however, there is no need to take the vehicles to a workshop on a regular basis.

A warranty case exists when a component (except for wear parts) no longer functions properly without significant external influence (e.g. accident) and at the same time is still within the warranty period. Please refer to our warranty conditions

In the event of a warranty claim, we will discuss the simplest further procedure with you personally. Please contact us personally in this regard. 

Basically yes - as long as you follow the manufacturer's specifications and only use original parts.

No - STEEREON does not need to be inspected regularly. This is due to the omission of maintenance-intensive components such as a gearshift or chain. If you wish, you can of course have the vehicle checked regularly. 

No - Since no inspections or regular maintenance are required, there are no regular costs here. 

Yes - We have instructions for the most important tasks (e.g. changing tires). Some of these are also videos that explain the tasks step by step. 

No - Our vehicles are built very high quality and have only high quality and tested components. The tires have puncture protection and thus reduce the risk of damaging the tube by sharp objects.
